Stop The ISM

Please visit the site Stop The ISM (International Solidarity Movement). To the ISM: What is wrong with you people? You turn against your country and wave machine guns next to terrorists in your own hackneyed photo-op? For what? Did Mommy and Daddy not love you enough? Are you so wound up in your self-loathing that it is manifest in your hatred of this Nation and what it stands for?

This is why I enjoy being a libertarian. I would love to pass a law to make assisted suicide legal. You people are too pussy to act on your self hatred to kill your own pathetic selves.

One day, you will be judged. And you shall reap the whirlwind.

Proud To Be Catholic, Part II (well, kinda)

If I were the Pope, I would not have made an apology. But I am not as wise as the Holy Father.

The Pope's apology for his controversial quotation is not what I would call waffling. It is a carefully crafted apology, using a technique which should be familiar to those who observe politics in this country: Apologizing for the reaction, not the original action.

In this case, it is clever strategery. Even though the Pope says that the quotation does "not in any way express my personal thought," he does not remove himself from condemning those who would force the world to live under sharia law through intimidation and murder.

I respectfully disagree with the Pope The quotation does represent my personal thought. I tire of hearing of the peaceful faith of Islam. Of course you can have peace when you have no enemies! Muslims are instructed to kill the infidels! And just who is an infidel? Anyone who does not believe the teachings of Islam. They are bent on genocide, and will be removed to the dustbin of history for their hate and intolerance.

Proud To Be Catholic

All the hubub over the Pope's comments regarding Mohammed and Islam is just the usual mainstream leftist media tempest in a teapot. And, as usual, they have missed the real story. Instead, they have chosen to accuse the usual suspects. This time, it's Catholics (and all Christians by proxy).

CNN obtained the transcripts of the Holy Father's lecture, given at the University of Regensburg, in Germany. If they had bothered to read beyond the so-called offensive passage, they would have found an intriguing discussion of the meaning of faith and the truth of God, using reason and intellect to actually question the existence of God. Maybe it was too much like Sunday school. More likely, it required more intelligence to read and understand than the story writer possessed.

Another point: the person making the statement which the pope quotes is the Byzantine Emperor Manuel II Paleologus, in the 14th century. This quote, by the Byzantine Emperor, shows the fallacy of the Islamo-Fascist's argument:
"God is not pleased by blood, and not acting reasonably is contrary to God's nature. Faith is born of the soul, not the body. Whoever would lead someone to faith needs the ability to speak well and to reason properly, without violence and threats.... To convince a reasonable soul, one does not need a strong arm, or weapons of any kind, or any other means of threatening a person with death...."

Will the Islamo-Fascists Score Again?

Tomorrow is the 5th anniversary of the terror attacks of 2001. Are the Islamo-Fascists going for another hit to celebrate?

We are fortunate to have an improved military and intelligence capability. How many times have the I-Fs been thwarted by these fine people? At least one coordinated attempt that we know of, the plot to bomb U.S. airliner flights originating from the U.K. We are overdue for another successful large scale attack.

Most likely, it will be a WMD type attack. Nuclear, biological, or chemical. This stuff freaks people out because a painful, grisly death awaits its victims. The most frightening of the three is a biological attack, possibly with some kind of hemorrhagic fever virus like ebola (please look at all the info you can stomach at this link). Two different scenarios of an attack using this method are presented in the books Executive Orders and Rainbow Six, both by Tom Clancy (and a nuclear attack in The Sum of All Fears). Worth reading.

Usama Bin Laden has recently stated that death would be preferable to life on earth among the Infidel. We'll be happy to oblige. I will personally be willing to do the job and wrap his ass in a hog hide before I bury him in a well-marked grave.

(No) Labor Day

Happy Labor Day! I hope everyone out there who normally does no labor feels guilt today. I doubt anyone who is un-or-underemployed considers their parasitic behavior abnormal or immoral throughout the year. But today, maybe, they will realize how pitiful and pathetic they really are.

The unemployment rate in central Virginia is about 2.5%, considerably lower than the national rate of 4.7% (last I looked). I see people on the streetcorners holding signs that say "WILL WORK FOR FOOD" and "HOMELESS-KIDS-WIFE-PLEASE HELP" Try offering the next person you see with a sign like this lunch at McDonald's in exchange for some small, menial task. Or just the lunch with no strings attached. Most likely the bum (as we called them when I was a kid) will make an excuse, and if he is really bold, will ask for money anyway. I also see people swiping "EBT" (Electronic Benefit Transfer, or "Electronic Benefit Plunder") in the grocery store. How is taking from me and my family legal? If the government did not do it, it would be called ROBBERY!

My labor day message as a bumper sticker:

Work Harder! Millions on welfare are depending on YOU!

The Roman Salute

My previous posting shows a painting by David, titled The Oath of the Horatii. It shows what is called the "roman" salute. Perhaps this looks familiar. At left is a picture of Adolf Hitler receiving the salute from the Reichstag upon the announcement of the occupation of Austria, in March of 1938.

That year, 1938, has been tossed around in the media recently as an analogy to current world events. Are we facing another moment in history when a relatively small action will preempt the need for a much larger and more costly action later? If Germany had been dealt with quickly and decisively in 1938, perhaps World War II would not have been so costly in every sense of the word.

Iran continues to thumb its nose at the western world by pursuing its nuclear agenda. Why do they need a nuclear program? They say it is for energy. Iran is an importer of gasoline. But if they want to cut forigen energy imports, why not build some refineries? (Sound familiar?) The Nuclear Menace was laid to rest after the Soviet Union collapsed, but only for a quick nap.

Iran is a known sponsor of terrorisim and continues to fight wars by proxy through Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, et al. The current president of Iran is suspected of being directly involved with the hostage crisis in 1979.

By the way, a variation of the roman salute was used in the United States as part of the Pledge of Allegiance until the U.S. entered WWII. Abandoned for obvious similarity to the Nazi salute, it was replaced with the hand-over-the-heart gesture (in my opinion a weak-looking pose). It is now used by Islamo-Fascists in some ceremonial situations.

An open warning to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: Keep looking over your shoulder. If it's 1938 again, soon you will be seeing this:

The Sacred Oath

How many of us would be willing to make a sacred oath to each other to fight, and to die, so that our freedom and our way of life would be preserved?

There is now a threat from the Islamo-Fascists ordering everyone to convert to Islam or suffer the consequences. It is being treated by the mainstream media like the Wicked Witch of the West skywriting "surrender Dorothy"on her broom.

The threat can be casually dismissed because there have been no acts of terror perpetrated on U.S. soil since 9/11. Sooner or later, an Islamo-Fascist or Fascists will succeed in attacking innocent Americans somehow, somewhere. And when that happens, people will freak the hell out.

We must have the will to fight. We must have the will to achieve VICTORY.

I Scored As France?

A fun quiz. I was figuring Nazi Germany the way I answered some of the questions.

You scored as France, Free French and the Resistance. Your army is the French army. You are prefer to win your enemies by politics than by sheer action, but when the war has started you will fight to the end with those resources you have and belive in freedom and victory in the end.
